We are known for our high level of specialisation in the聽TIG and Resistance welding聽of聽Al, Ti, Cr-Ni and Inconel alloys, as well as in the welding of ballistic steel.
The division聽has solid experience in the聽design and manufacture of equipment聽for the production of parts and assemblies for聽helicopters,聽trainer aircraft and聽vehicles for transporting troops聽and聽heavy artillery. We are capable of providing聽surface treatments聽such as聽chromate conversion coating for aluminium聽and聽steel passivation.

CURTI Aerospace has an internal workshop for quality control, equipped with the latest cutting-edge measuring technology and machines (CMM Zeiss). The division has聽ISO 9001, AS/EN 9100, ISO 14001, BS OHSAS 18001聽certification and Nadcap accreditation for NDT聽and聽welding.
In particular, in recent years, the division has specialised in the聽forming and processing of sheet metal聽for the aeronautic industry, using noble materials including聽high-strength stainless steel聽and special steels,聽aluminium alloys,聽pure titanium and titanium alloys, and special processes such as resistance spot welding, bonding and assembly of carbon fibre components.
The intermediate and final control of these processes is ensured through the use of various non-destructive control methods (on surfaces and volumes) applied by qualified personnel.
CURTI Aerospace has completely聽designed and built聽the first model of a totally innovative聽two-seater helicopter with a聽turbine engine. The development of the helicopter鈥檚 safety features is the result of a聽DISRUPT project, promoted by the聽European Commission as part of an important funding scheme for SMEs leading up to 2020.
